Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE)
Bryden Martel Architects (BMA) partnered with us for their interior finish selection, lighting and millwork design. The construction cost was $195 per square foot with LEED upgrades costing $7 per square foot and a payback period of 3 to 4 years. As a sustainable approach, the building is made from 17% recycled materials and 31% of the materials are from local sources, while at least 70% of the wood was sustainably grown and harvested.
“As lead architect for CUPE headquarters, I had a vision to portray through materials and design. We collaborated with [in]tempo who strived to know my intentions and make them come to life with the color choices, design details and furniture. The building was designed to meet a LEED Gold rating and came in on budget.”
